Re:
On Friday evening April 09, 2022 at approximatley 8:45PM, Graves sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a business located in the Symsonia community of Graves County.
An employee of the business while working the cash register, reported that he was accosted by two men, and forced against his will and with force out of the store and into the parking lot. The employee went on to report that the two men threatened him with bodily harm. A review of the stores surveillance system confirmed the victims report.
After some additional investigation, the two suspects were identified as being 37 year old William M. Shook of Symsonia, and 24 year old Murray H. Hailey of West Paducah, Ky.
On Saturday both suspects were located and interviewed and did in fact confess to the allegations. They were then arrested and lodged at out of county correctional facilities. Both were charged with the following offenses:
1. Burglary 3rd Degree
2. Menacing
3. Terroristic Threatening
4. Harassment
Sgt. Chris Mensinger and Deputy Larry Jones investigated.
Thank you,
Sheriff Jon Hayden
