Area of Benton. As a result if this investigation Jason Carnine of Benton was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. Carnine was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 3rd Offense (methamphetamine), Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine) and traffic offenses. Carnine was later lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Benton Police Department
