A two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Marshall County left a man injured and facing charges.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 8:30 am on US 641 at the stop lights in Hardin. Deputies said 53-year-old John M. Hopkins of Almo was traveling west on KY 402 when he pulled across the intersection of US 641 and was struck by a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Ronald Allred, also of Almo.
Deputies said the stop lights were not operational at the time of the collision. Hopkins was cited for DUI and transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
