sheriffOn Thursday December 15th Deputy Steven Oakley was contacted by a land owner on Oak Level Road who advised that someone was cutting trees and hauling logs out without permission. Upon arrival, Deputy Oakley noticed a male subject wearing an orange jacket that took off running into the woods. Deputy Oakley located the male subject hiding on the ground. There were 3 logs that had already been cut and pulled from the woods and laying in a wheat field. The subject stated he had already taken some logs off to get money. Mitchell C.
