Recently Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office began
investigating allegations of the rape of a young teenager by a 38 year
old male. On May 4, 2022, the male, Jeremy Bukrym, was arrested by
Detectives.
The investigation showed that Bukrym had raped the teenager repeatedly
over the course of six months in different locations within McCracken
County. During these six months he committed several sex acts and
forced the teenager to perform sex acts on him.
Bukrym, of Old Said Road, was arrested pursuant to an arrest warrant
and lodged in the McCracken County Jail. He was charged with Rape 1st
Degree and two counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.
