Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest.

On June 28, 2022 at approximately 2:28am a McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Old Mayfield Road and Houser Road.

During the course of the investigation the operator 52 year ago Joseph L Herzog of Paducah Ky, had an outstanding warrant out of McCracken County.

Upon placing Joseph L Herzog under arrest deputies located illegal narcotics on his person.

Joseph L Herzog was charged with the following;

-Speeding 26mph over.

-Failure of owner to maintain required ins/sec, 1^st off

-Careless Driving.

-License to be in possession.

-Poss Cont Sub 1^st Degree 1^st Off ((Methamphetamine)

-Poss Cont Sub 1^st Degree 1^st Off ( Drug Unspecified)

-Warrant was served.

Joseph L Herzog was lodged into McCracken County Jail.
