On August 7th, 2022, at approximately 5:30pm, A Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Houser Rd. near Old Mayfield Rd. The vehicle was a 2010 GMC pick-up truck driven by 53-year-old Steven A. Colvin and occupied by 43-year-old Kelly Carter both of Paducah, KY.
During the investigation, it was discovered that both Colvin and Carter were in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and several other items related to Drug Paraphernalia. Carter was also in possession of a quantity of Marijuana.
While at the Jail, it was discovered that Colvin ingested a large quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine. Mercy Regional EMS then transported Colvin to Lourdes Hospital where he was later admitted. Due to the seriousness of Colvin’s health condition, he was cited into court and released.
Carter was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where she was lodged.
