Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On March 25, 2023, at about 12:22am a deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop on Old Hinkleville Road. The driver of the vehicle was a female subject identified as 34-year-old Katherine Butler. During the investigation, it was determined that Butler attempted to discard illegal narcotics in the grass outside the vehicle. A quantity of Methamphetamine was recovered. Butler was arrested and lodged in the McCracken Regional Jail.

1. One Head Light

2. No Registration Receipt

3. No Registration Plates

4. Possession of Controlled Substance 1^st Degree, 1^st Offence (Methamphetamine)
