Traffic Stop Leads Drug Arrest.

On July 18^th, 2023, at approximately 11:28pm a McCracken County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on US 45 Highway near Lebanon Church Road for traffic violations.

In the course of the investigation, it was determined that Richard Hughes 49 years of age, of Ledbetter Ky and Jack Hughes 47 years of age, of Paducah Ky was in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Richard Hughes had an outstanding active warrant out of McCracken County Circuit County.

Both Richard Hughes and Jack Hughes were arrested and lodged into the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Richard Hughes was charged with the following.

-Speeding 13mph over.

-Careless Driving.

-Poss Cont Sub 1^st Degree Methamphetamine.

-Drug Paraphernalia.

-Warrant served.

Jack Hughes was charged with the following.

Poss Cont Sub 1^st Degree Methamphetamine.

Drug Paraphernalia.
