Single vehicle collision ends with arrest

On August 11^th, 2023, at approximately 4:42 P.M. deputies were dispatched to the area of 6970 Old Mayfield Road in reference to a single vehicle colliding with a telephone pole.

Through investigation it was discovered that Ronnie Allen 49 years old, of Paducah Kentucky was operating his 2005 Ford on Old Mayfield Rd when he went off the roadway and struck the telephone pole.

Ronnie Allen was determined to be under the influence.  He was also found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, Xanax, and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested:

• Ronnie Allen 49 years old of Paducah Kentucky.

Charges:

• Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of substance 4^th or > offense.
• Possession of a controlled substance 1^st degree 3^rd or > offense (Methamphetamine).
• Possession of controlled substance 3^rd degree
• Possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Criminal Mischief 1^st Degree
