On Sunday April 14, 2024, at about 1:41pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop on I24 just before the Ohio River Bridge. The Driver of the vehicle was 47-year-old Katherine Southworth of Peoria, Illinois. During the investigation, A search of the vehicle was conducted and revealed a quantity of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia inside. Southworth was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
