On May 29th, Deputy Chris Greenfield was dispatched to US 68 West in reference to a possible DUI driver. He located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Deputy Greenfield’s investigation resulted in the arrest of Corey Lee Herndon age 38 of Paducah on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle U/ Influence ALC/Drugs/etc .08 1st Offense and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. A small child was in the vehicle.
On May 25th Detective Captain Matt Hilbrecht and Detective Jeff Daniel completed an investigation by serving a search warrant on Hickory Hill Lane. 418 Grams of Marijuana in individual bags were seized. A warrant was obtained and on May 28th Deputy William Strader served the warrant charging Gordon E. Staab age 71 of Benton with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia Buy / Poss. He was already in Marshall County Detention Center on unrelated charges. He was served and remained in the detention center.

On May 29th at approximately 8:21pm, Sergeant Tim Reynolds arrested Justin Isaiah Wilson age 26 of Paducah for Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence ALC/Drugs/Etc ( Aggravating Circumstances ) 2nd Offense. Wilson was intoxicated in his vehicle in the parking lot at a business in Draffenville. SGT. Reynolds was assisted by Deputy Chris Greenfield.
On May 29th, Deputy Chris Greenfield responded to a disturbance on Benning Lane. According to a citation filed by Deputy Greenfield, the investigation resulted in the arrest of Joshua Wayne Tidwell age 28 of Mayfield on charges of Assault 4th Degree.
