A Marshall County man is facing additional charges, after police say he was caught with methamphetamine.
According to Benton Police Department, officers on Sunday, Nov. 26, located Damon Turner near the 600 block of Poplar Street in Benton. Officers knew Turner had active warrants for his arrest and took Turner into custody, according to BPD. Turner allegedly had two syringes in his possession filled with a liquid that later field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Turner was charged on suspicion of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to appear in court warrant from Marshall County; and contempt of court failure to pay fines warrant from Marshall County.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
