KSP arrests Paducah Man on Criminal Abuse 1st degree

Paducah, KY (July 9 2018)- The Kentucky State Police and the Department for Community Based Services began a joint investigation into an alleged child abuse complaint.  After a week long investigation and consultation with medical experts KSP arrested David G. Minks, 29 of Paducah, KY., and charged him with one count of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree, child under 12 years of age, which is a Class “C” Felony.   Minks was arrested without incident on July 9, 2018 and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

The investigation continues by KSP Detective Jody Cash and the Cabinet for Community Based Services.   Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555.  Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.  The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
