On October 3rd at 7:37pm, Deputy Cory Curtner served a complaint warrant on Kevin Reed of Benton. The charge was Assault 2nd Degree.
On October 3rd Sergeant Tim Reynolds and Deputy Cory Curtner responded to a US 68 East Business in reference to a male shooting a handgun in front of the business. A caller reported that the man had left westbound on US 68. In the Jonathan School area, SGT. Reynolds met the described vehicle and determined its speed by radar to be 79 miles per hour. SGT. Reynolds conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and as a result of his and Deputy Curtner’s investigation Christopher Dalt…on Wilson of Benton was charged with the following: Speeding 24 MPH Over the Limit, Operating A Motor Vehicle U/Influence Alc/Drugs/Etc .08 Aggravating Circumstances 2nd Offense, Operating On Suspended or Revoked Operators License, No Registration Plates, Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon, Receiving Stolen Property ( Firearm ), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
On October 4th, Deputy Nick Spears stopped a vehicle on US 641 North, just a short distance north of Draffenville. The vehicle was stopped for speeding. After the investigation, the driver Amanda Maria Mills of Hardin was arrested and charged with Speeding and Operating A Motor Vehicle U/Influence Alc/Drugs/Etc .08 1st Offense.
On October 4th, Deputy Steven Oakley worked a theft of a motor vehicle from Lakeland Wesley Village. Jeff Gipson reports that the vehicle was stolen from the parking lot on the morning of the 4th. The vehicle is a red 1999 Ford F-150 with KY License 907XSZ. On October 5th, Captain Matt Hilbrecht was dispatched to Park Street in Gilbertsville in reference to a disturbance. After his arrival and the investigation, Steven D. Williams of Gilbertsville was arrested and charged with Assault 4th Degree.
On October 6th, Deputy Lofton Rowley was dispatched to a Draffenville business in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival Deputy Rowley discovered a woman sitting in the drivers seat of a vehicle and appeared to be passed out. The vehicle was running. After Deputy Rowley’s investigation Jennifer Renee Heady of Calvert City was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence Alc/Drugs/Etc .08 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Prescription / Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container.
On October 7th, Deputy Barry Howell was dispatched to Forest Road in reference to a man violating a Kentucky Domestic Violence Order. After the ensuing investigation, Deputy Howell located the man a short distance away. MIchael E. England of Benton was arrested and charged with Violation of KY EPO/DVO. England was also served with a complaint warrant for an earlier incident. The warrant charged England with Violation of KY EPO/DVO.
On October 7th, Deputy Josh Anderson served a Marshall County Bench Warrant on Ronald A. Payne age 57 of Benton. The warrant was for Failure to Appear.
On October 9th at 4:20pm, Deputy Barry Howell served a complaint warrant from Marshall County on Shanrah Evans of Benton. The charge was Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. The original case was investigated by Benton Police Department.
On October 9th, Detective Sergeant Jeff Daniel served a Marshall Circuit Bench Warrant on Mena R. Powell of Mayfield, KY.
On October 9th, Deputy Steve Robinson served a warrant on Keith A. Austin of Benton. The charge was violation of KY EPO /DVO.
On October 10th, Sergeant Jason Lane served a complaint warrant on Howard T. Jewell of Taylorsville, KY The charge on the Marshall District warrant was Assault 4th Degree Minor Injury.
On October 10th at 5:38pm, Sergeant Jason Lane served a complaint warrant on James A. Booker of Paducah. The charge was Assault 4th Degree Minor Injury.
On October 10th, Deputy Dennis Lewis arrested George Alvin Collins of Hardin. It was discovered that Collins was entered as a Fugitive in the state of Kansas.
On October 11th at 11:00am, Deputy Steve Robinson served an arrest warrant on Adam M. Cole of Wingo, KY. for Failure to Appear in Graves County. While on the scene Deputy Robinson found items that resulted in the additional charges of Possession of Marijuana and Buy / Possess Drug Paraphernalia. The original charges on which Cole had not appeared were Violation of Kentucky EPO / DVO, Bail Jumping 2nd Degree, and Contempt of Court.
On October 11th at 7:40am, Deputy Steve Robinson served warrants on Howard V. Langston of Hardin. A Muhlenberg County warrant was for Failure to Appear on a charge of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition. There were two Marshall County warrants for Probation Violation.
On October 11th at 1:54pm, Captain Matt Hilbrecht served a complaint warrant on Annita Ziegler of Hardin. The warrant was based on a complaint by Detective Jeff Daniel of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office after his investigation had revealed that Ziegler had made statements both aloud and via e mail that could be considered threatening against members of the court. Ziegler was charged with Retaliating Against Participant in Legal Process and lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
On October 11th, Sergeant Jason Lane served a complaint warrant on Donnie D. Siress of Benton on a charge of Violation of Kentucky EPO / DVO.
On October 12th, Deputy Josh Anderson served a bond revocation on Shelbie M. Vibbert of Ledbetter, KY.
On October 12th, Deputy Josh Anderson was dispatched to Dunn Cemetery Road about someone refusing to leave a residence. Investigation revealed that the person was Jeremy D. Wynn of Mayfield and that Wynn was in violation of conditions of release by being at the location. Wynn was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
