On 01/05/2019, while on patrol, Officer Caleb Curtner observed Jackie Johnson, entering a residence on Elm Street. Officer Curtner was aware that Johnson had two active warrants, one being from a case through the Benton Police Department. Johnson was placed under arrest, for the two warrants.
Jackie L. Johnson III, 24, of Benton, was charged with Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence Minor Injury and Violation of KY EPO ( Benton Police Warrant). He was also charged with Failure to Appear ( bench warrant). All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
