On 05-23-2019, deputies were dispatched to Eggners Ferry Road in reference to a single car roll over collision. While on scene, busted beer cans were observed in the area. Contact was made with the operator, Mr. Kenneth Odom and the odor of alcohol was detected on his person. Mr. Odom was treated and transported by Marshall County EMS to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. Mr. Odom was cited by Deputy Maxlow for DUI 1st offense due to receiving medical treatment. Deputy Spears conducted the collision investigation. Fairdealing Olive Fire Department assisted on scene.
On 05-23-2019, Deputy Maxlow was traveling west on U.S. Hwy 68 and observed a vehicle weaving in front of him. A traffic stop was conducted where Deputy Maxlow made contact with the operator Mr. David Bosch. After further investigation and field sobriety tests, Mr. Bosch was arrested and charged with DUI 1st offense.
On 05-23-2019, Deputy Maness was dispatched to Sledd Creek Road in reference to a male stumbling in the roadway. Contact was made and he was identified as Mr. Billy May. After further investigation, Mr. May was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.
On 05-26-2019, Deputy Greenfield was traveling on U.S. Hwy 68 East. Deputy Greenfield observed a vehicle in front of him weaving from center line to fog line. A traffic stop was conducted where contact was made with the operator Mr. Terry Price. After further investigation and field sobriety tests Mr. Price was arrested and charged with DUI 1st offense, operating on suspended or revoked operators license, possession of controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Deputy Anderson was dispatched to Draffenville in reference to a reckless driver. Deputy Anderson met with the caller who followed the vehicle to a parking lot. The caller gave a description of the vehicle and male operator, also stating this vehicle almost ran their family off of the road. Deputy Anderson observed the described male walking away from the vehicle. The male was identified as Mr. Corey Lewis and alcohol could be smelled on his person. As a result of the investigation and field sobriety tests, Mr. Lewis was arrested and charged with DUI 1st offense.
