04/01/2022 Traffic Stop Nets Paducah Man On Drug Arrest

On April 1st approximately 3:56pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Husbands Rd. The vehicle was a 2008 Nissan passenger car driven by 27-year-old Martin Wilson Jr. of Paducah, KY.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Wilson Jr. was in possession of a quantity of Crack Cocaine, a Crack Cocaine smoking pipe, and numerous items related to Drug Paraphernalia.

Wilson Jr. was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Arrested: Martin Wilson Jr. 27 of Paducah, KY 42003

Charges:

  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Cont. Subst. 1st Degree (Cocaine)

On Sunday, April 3, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m. Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy J. Hamm attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 641 North for speeding. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit occurred. The pursuit continued until the vehicle stopped in Marshall County.
Damarius Dinwiddie, age 19, of Union City, Tennessee was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, Reckless Driving, Possession of Marijuana, and various traffic related offenses. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

Mayfield Man Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit
Date: 04/03/2022
On Sunday, April 3, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m. Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy J. Hamm attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 641 North for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit occurred. The pursuit continued several miles until the vehicle stopped in a driveway.
Nicole D. Noonan, age 46, of Mayfield, Kentucky was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Fleeing or Evading Police, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Possession of Marijuana, and various traffic related offenses. He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Traffic stop leads to drug arrest 4/3/2022

On April 3, 2022, at approximately 12:00 pm, McCracken County Deputy
Jonathan Hayden observed a 2000 Honda Accord traveling in the 1000
block of Husbands Road. The vehicle was stopped for traffic
infractions and found to be driven by Joshua Williams, 40, of
Mayfield. During the course of this stop, it was discovered Williams
had an active warrant for his arrest.

As the investigation continued, a search of the vehicle revealed a
quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medications and
items of drug paraphernalia.

Williams was arrested and taken to McCracken County Regional Jail.
Another male passenger in the vehicle was released without charges.

          Erin K. Allen, 42, of 126 S. 38th Street, Louisville was arrested on April 03, 2022 for DUI 2nd offense (aggravating circumstances).  She was also charged with driving on a DUI suspended operators license 1st offense (aggravating circumstances), no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

On April 4th at approximately 6:00pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Kentucky Ave. The vehicle was a 2013 Ford passenger car driven by 50-year-old Lacey E. Gates of Paducah, KY.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Gates was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Oxycodone, Gabapentin, Marijuana, and numerous items related to Drug Paraphernalia.

Gates was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

04/05/2022 Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Drug Trafficking Charge

On April 5th at approximately 9:21pm, Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at Cains Storage Facility located on Bridge St.  The vehicle was a 2005 Dodge Van driven by 44-year-old James D. Paluski of Paducah, KY.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Paluski was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and numerous items related to Drug Paraphernalia.

Paluski was in possession of over $600.00 in cash, digital weight scales, and numerous new/unused baggies. The items seized during this investigation is consistent with Trafficking Drugs.

Paluski was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

April 5, 2022 Drug Arrest on Traffic Stop

On Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at approximately 12:20 AM, Deputy Tyler Crane conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on US 45 North, between Mayfield and Hickory. Deputy Crane developed probable cause to search he vehicle during the traffic stop. As a results of the search, Deputy Crane located methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The operator, Juan Antonio Hernandez-Moya, 26 of Murray, was determined to not have a valid operator’s license. He was arrested for the following charges and lodged in the Warren County Jail. Deputy Crane was assisted on the scene by Deputy Ben Doran.

2 – Possession of Marijuana

On April 7th at approximately 9:30pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Old US Hwy 45 South. The vehicle was a 1997 Astro Van driven by 45-year-old Jason C. Jackson of Mayfield, KY.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Jackson was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and items related to Drug Paraphernalia.

Jackson was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

The KSP Electronic Crime Branch located and arrested Donald Ray Gilbert, 59

 charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.
Gilbert was interviewed and arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect distributing sexually explicit images online.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant on Bluegrass Road, East Bernstadt, on April 7, 2022. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Gilbert is currently charged with 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. This charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Gilbert was also charged with 10 counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance. This charge is a Class-C felony punishable by five to ten years in prison. Gilbert was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
The Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is comprised of more than twenty-six local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The mission of the ICAC Task Force, created by the United States Department of Justice and administrated by the Kentucky State Police, is to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in developing a response to cyber enticement and child sexual abuse material investigations. This support encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, prevention and community education. The ICAC program was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the internet, the proliferation of child sexual abuse material, and the heightened online activity of predators searching for unsupervised contact with underage victims.

Traffic Stop Nets Three on Drug Charges

On April 9th at approximately 8:00pm, Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Benton Rd. in the Reidland area. The vehicle was a 2003 Toyota passenger car driven by 32-year-old Danielle R. Helton of Mounds, IL. The vehicle was also occupied by 20-year-old Bobby W. Brisentine and 49-year-old Jeffrey T. Sexton.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Helton, Brisentine, and Sexton was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and several items related to Drug Paraphernalia.

While enroute to the jail, it was learned that Helton had hidden illegal drugs on her person in an attempt to keep Deputies from finding it.

Records indicate that Helton, Brisentine, and Sexton all have an extensive criminal history involving Methamphetamine. Helton and Brisentine have non-extraditable warrants out of Illinois for Felony Drug Offenses.

All three individuals were arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

BUSY WEEKEND: Marshall County police reports 4/7-4/11

On 04/11/2022, Deputies were dispatched to 2253 Gilbertsville Hwy in reference to a subject from inside the residence text messaging 911 saying that someone was at the residence with an EPO and was yelling.
Upon deputies arrival, they made contact with victim, Samantha Morris. When asked if she had text messaged 911 and if everything was ok, Morris stated that she had not text messaged 911 and everything was fine. Another female subject then emerged from the residence and stated that Morris needed to tell the truth. The two females stated that “he” was inside. Still not knowing who the suspect was deputies first made contact with a subject later identified as Walker Johnson sitting on the couch. When asked what his name was so deputies could check for EPO information, Johnson stated that he wouldn’t give his name. Deputies explained to Johnson that because he was part of an active investigation for a domestic disturbance and EPO violation he was required to identify himself. Johnson then stated that his name was “A Person”. Johnson was warned that providing false information to obscure his identity is a criminal offense and he would be charged. Johnson again refused to identify himself and was arrested.
Meanwhile, deputies located another man and offender, Zachary Morris, hiding in a closet underneath some clothing. When located Z. Morris was identified and arrested for being in violation of an Emergency Protective Order.
Both subjects were transported to Herman Ford Detention Facility.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 04/10/2022, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Hardin community. During the traffic stop, deputies discovered the operator of the vehicle, Tristian Long of Calloway County, had an active warrant for his arrest out of Calloway County for Rape 3rd.
Long was arrested and handed off to Calloway County Deputies.

On 04/10/2022, Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of George Clark Rd S in reference to a suspicious person. Caller stated that the offender, later identified as Derek Darnall, appeared to be very intoxicated and would not leave their property. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that Darnall had walked off toward New Hope Rd.
Deputies located Darnall on New Hope Rd and observed that he was manifestly under the influence and smelled strongly of alcohol. When deputies attempted to arrest Darnall, he began to resist and a brief struggle ensued. Deputies were quickly able to subdue Darnall and make an arrest.
Darnall was transported to the Herman Ford Detention Facility.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 04/10/2022, Deputies were dispatched to 3333 US Hwy 68 W in reference to a disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies were able to determine that offender, Robert Reilly, had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear for a court date.
Reilly was arrested ad transported to Herman Ford Detention Center.

On 04/10/2022, Deputies were conducting patrols in the area of 641 N. Deputies observed a vehicle driving North on 641 N doing 41 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Deputies also observed the vehicle crossing the center line multiple times. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and were able to determine through Standard Field Sobriety Tests that the operator of the vehicle, Greg Schmale, was impaired. Schmale was then arrested.
Schmale was transported to the Herman Ford Detention Center in Benton.

On 04/10/2022, Deputies responded to the Aurora Community on Washburn Rd in reference to a KSP investigation that stemmed from a theft in Graves County.
As a result, deputies arrested Kassandra Gillmore and Roy Gibson both for Receiving Stolen Property $1000 < $10,000 on KSP warrants. Both suspects were transported to the Herman Ford Detention Center in Benton.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 04/09/2022, Deputies were dispatched to 24 Patriot St in the “Old Gilbertsville” area in reference to an unwanted subject. Deputies were told that Terry Blades Jr. was at the residence and was causing problems with the residents who lived there.
Deputies were able to verify through dispatch that Blades Jr. had previously been trespassed from the property.
Upon arrival, deputies observed Blades Jr. inside the residence. Blades Jr, who has been trespassed from many of the properties in the “Old Gilbertsville” area stated that he was at the residence because he saw smoke. Deputies spoke to Judy Blades, the homeowner, who stated that she told Blades Jr. to leave but he refused.
Deputies arrested Blades Jr and transported him to the Herman Ford Detention Center in Benton.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On 04/07/2022, Deputies were dispatched to 348 Galahad Dr in reference to a domestic assault. The caller stated that his aunt was struck in the nose by her boyfriend and offender, Willard Springs II.
The victim stated that she and Springs had been arguing inside the residence at 352 Galahad and Springs threw coffee on her. The two then exited the house and continued arguing on the porch. The arguing got the attention of nearby neighbors who came outside to see what the commotion was about. Witnesses then observed Springs grab a ATV helmet and strike the victim in the face causing her nose to bleed.
Springs was arrested and taken to Herman Ford Detention Center in Benton.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Missing person out of the Pilot Oak Community
On April 9th 2022 at 3:40pm Deputy Tyler Crane of the Graves County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a missing person from the Pilot Oak community in southern Graves County. Andrew David Bruner of Pilot Oak was last seen at 6:00pm on 04/08/2022 at a residence in this area.
Andrew Bruner is white male, 39 years of age, with short black hair and a short black beard. Bruner is approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Bruner or make contact with him, please contact the Sheriff’s Office as soon as possible.

Wanted West Paducah Man Arrested On Drug Charges

On April 9th at approximately 11:50am, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Skyline Dr. in West Paducah. The vehicle was a 1986 Ford pick-up driven by 48-year-old Chris S. Noles of West Paducah, KY.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Noles was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and items related to Drug Paraphernalia.
It was also learned that Noles had a warrant for his arrest out of McCracken County.
Noles was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Two arrested Friday for selling Methamphetamine

An undercover drug investigation conducted Friday April 08, 2022 by the Graves and McCracken Sheriff’s Offices, the Hopkinsville Police Department, and the DEA, led to the arrest of a Mayfield man and woman.
At around 4PM, a vehicle was stopped on Cole Street in Mayfield after the two occupants had just sold approximately 43 grams of crystal Methamphetamine on a business parking lot off of East Broadway.
The passenger was identified as being 46 year old Tracy L. Cope of Graves County. The driver was identified as being 40 year old Timothy L. Brown of Mayfield.
U.S. Currency was located in the vehicle that was proceeds of illegal drug sales, along with electronic scales that was being used to weigh the drug, Marijuana and other related drug paraphernalia.
A 2014 Mercedes-Benz the couple was driving was also seized.
A criminal records check revealed that Brown has a previous felony conviction for selling Methamphetamine.

Calvert City Police Dept. Arrest Report

April 11, 2022

The following people were arrested/charged by the Calvert City Police Department:

          Peter John Sitchanoff, 32, of 2661 State Route 464, Mayfield was arrested on April 05, 2022 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.  He was also served a Graves County Indictment Warrant for burglary 3rd degree, possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree (drug unspecified), possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree (drug unspecified), and prescription controlled substance not in proper container 1st offense.

          Terence David Spindler, 54, of 2917 Gilbertsville Highway, Calvert City was arrested on April 08, 2022 for operating on a suspended or revoked operators license.  He was also charged with failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance 1st offense, failure to notify address change to department of transportation, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

          Robert Steven Engleman, 71, of 409 West 9th Street, Benton was arrested on April 08, 2022 on a Graves County Indictment Warrant for proc or prom use of minor by electronic means and distribution of obscene matter to minors 1st offense.  He was also served a Marshall County Warrant for probation violation (for felony offense).

          Jerry Don Battoe, 58, of 1301 North 13th Street, Apt. #E3, Paducah was arrested on April 08, 2022 for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine).  He was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, and failure of owner to maintain required insurance 1st offense.  He was also served two Muhlenberg County Warrants for failure to appear.


Graves County man charged with importing fentanyl in Paducah

PADUCAH — A Graves County, Kentucky, man faces a felony drug charge in Paducah after police say a search warrant uncovered more than 100 capsules suspected of containing fentanyl.

Burl Wayne Morris Jr. of Hickory was arrested Friday evening in Paducah. The Paducah Police Department says detectives secured a search warrant for Morris’ car and his person after receiving information accusing him of selling fentanyl in Paducah and McCracken County.

Detectives pulled Morris over on Cairo Road late Friday afternoon to carry out the warrant. When they searched Morris, the police department says the detectives found the capsules in a plastic bag.

The police department says Morris was out of jail on bond for a fentanyl trafficking charge out of Graves County when he was arrested Friday in Paducah.

Morris was charged with importing carfentanil, fentanyl or fentanyl derivatives — a class C felony — and jailed in the McCracken County Jail. According to the jail roster, his bond was set at $25,000, and he is set to appear in court at 9 a.m. on April 26.

Arrest of two persons stem from incident at a Symsonia business.

On Friday evening April 09, 2022 at approximatley 8:45PM, Graves sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a business located in the Symsonia community of Graves County.
An employee of the business while working the cash register, reported that he was accosted by two men, and forced against his will and with force out of the store and into the parking lot. The employee went on to report that the two men threatened him with bodily harm. A review of the stores surveillance system confirmed the victims report.
After some additional investigation, the two suspects were identified as being 37 year old William M. Shook of Symsonia, and 24 year old Murray H. Hailey of West Paducah, Ky.
On Saturday both suspects were located and interviewed and did in fact confess to the allegations. They were then arrested and lodged at out of county correctional facilities. Both were charged with the following offenses:
1. Burglary 3rd Degree
2. Menacing
3. Terroristic Threatening
4. Harassment
Sgt. Chris Mensinger and Deputy Larry Jones investigated.

A young woman was arrested Monday night after the car she was driving hit a parked car, then crashed into a building on Park Avenue.
Jada Birchfield was determined to be intoxicated and was driving a car with three passengers in it, one of them an infant.
Officers were called at 9:43 p.m. to the area of Park Avenue and North 13th Street. Through investigation, they determined Birchfield’s Ford Fusion had hit a vehicle parked at 1204 Park Avenue, then turned left onto North 13th Street. Officers said Birchfield lost control of her car and it hit the 13th Street Bike Shop, causing significant damage to the building.
None of the passengers were reported injured.
Birchfield was arrested on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, driving under the influence, first-degree criminal mischief, driving with no operator’s license and leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance and booked into McCracken County Regional Jail.

NEWS RELEASE

Mayfield, Ky. (April 12, 2022) – Kentucky State Police (KSP), Post 1 is currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Graves County man wanted for violating his bond conditions. Jacob Forrest, 33 years old of Wingo, KY, was arrested by KSP in 2019 and charged with Sodomy 1st Degree (Victim Under 12 Years Old), Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (Victim Under 12 Years Old), and Distribution of Obscene Material to Minors. On January 10, 2022, the Graves County Circuit Court Judge signed a warrant of arrest for Forrest in reference to violations of his bond conditions in this case.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office has also obtained an arrest warrant for Forrest on charges of Tampering with a Prisoner Monitoring Device and Escape 2nd Degree. On December 15, 2021, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a report that Jacob Forrest was missing. Through their investigation, deputies discovered that an ankle monitor device, court ordered to be worn by Forrest at all times as he was placed on home incarceration, had been cut and was found on the ground outside his residence.

Jacob Forrest is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5′ 9″ tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

4/12/2022 Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On April 12th at approximately 3:30pm, a Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Chester Hack Dr. The vehicle was a 2007 Dodge Van driven by 43-year-old William S. Steinbeck of Bardwell, KY.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Steinbeck was in possession of a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and several items related to Drug Paraphernalia.
Records indicate that Steinbeck is currently out on bond in Carlisle County for Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Marijuana, and several other drug related charges.
Steinbeck was arrested and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
