On November 14th at approximately 11:09pm, Deputy Josh Anderson was dispatched to the 1600 area of Highway 95 in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Deputy Anderson found an unoccupied vehicle in a driveway with music blaring. Further investigation revealed that the driver was inside the home. Joy D. Adrian age 39 of Paducah was arrested and charged with DUI after the investigation revealed that Adrian had driven the vehicle after taking controlled substances and was extremely intoxicated. Further investigation resulted in an additional charge of Wanton Endangerment after it was discovered that Adrian had driven there with a two year old child in the vehicle. Adrian was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. Deputy Cory Curtner assisted Deputy Anderson.
On November 14th Deputy Jason Ivey investigated an injury crash on I-24. A vehicle driven by Michael R. Pritchard of Farmington, KY was slowing and making a turn into a no turn around median crossing. A vehicle driven by Donald C. Pierce of Palmyra, MO. was forced to slow because of the turning vehicle. A vehicle driven by Michael Waksmonski age 53 of Wausau, WI was behind the Pierce vehicle and was followed by a vehicle driven by Charity K. Drescher age 36 of Marshfield, WI. Drescher was unable to stop, striking the Waksmonski vehicle in the rear causing that vehicle to strike the Pierce vehicle in the rear. Waksmonski was injured in the crash and was transported for medical care. Pritchard was cited for improper turn on limited access highway.
On November 15th at 7:56am, Deputy Steven Oakley investigated a three vehicle injury crash on US 68 at the intersection of Scale Road. According to his report, a vehicle driven by Christian T. Breeden age 17 of Paducah was eastbound on US 68. Vehicles driven by Mary J. Campbell age 57 of Paducah and Gina R. Hutchison age 32 of Benton were stopped to allow Hutchison to make a turn onto Scale Road. Breeden failed to stop and struck the Campbell vehicle in the rear causing Campbell then to strike Hutchison. The injured were transported by EMS and private vehicle to both Western Baptist and Lourdes Hospitals.
