Marshall County Sheriff’s Report November 21st, 2016

On Saturday November 19th Deputy Josh Anderson was dispatched to Native Circle in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, Deputy Anderson spoke to the victim who stated that the suspect had been kicked out of a bar in Paducah prior to his arrival. Once they both left the bar the suspect started hitting her on the head and in the face on the way home. The victim stated once they returned home she just went to bed but the suspect came to the bedroom and started punching her in the face and choking her. Jordan Zamora 22, of Benton, was arrested and charged with Assault 4th Degree Domestic Violence.

For the week of November 14th through November 21st the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following:  22 Traffic Accidents, 16 Traffic Stops, 80 Extra Patrols, 6 Motorist Assists, 4 Animal Complaints, 1 Assault, 9 Burglary/Theft reports, 11 Disturbances, 5 Domestic Disturbances, 3 EPO’s, 7 Investigations, 3 Suspicious Drug Activity, 28 Have a Deputy Call, 6 Suspicious Person reports, 5 Suspicious Vehicle reports, 18 Warrants attempted, 20 Civils attempted and 8 Welfare Checks contributing to 360 calls responded to.
