Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On November 26th, 2022, at approximately 10:30pm, a Deputy with the
McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Benton
Rd. The vehicle was a 1996 Ford pick-up truck driven by 53-year-old
Wesley A. Fox of Salem, Ky.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Fox was in
possession of 28.0 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 14.0 grams of
Marijuana, a quantity of Suboxone, several new/unused plastic baggies,
cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales, and other items
related to Drug Paraphernalia.

Wesley A. Fox was arrested and transported to the McCracken County
Regional Jail where he was lodged.

Arrested: Wesley A. Fox, 53 of Salem, KY

Charges:

* Failure to or Improper Signal
* Failure to Notify D.O.T. of Address Change
* Prescription Not in Proper Container
* Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
* Possession of Marijuana
* Possession of Cont. Sub. 2nd (Drug Unspecified)
* Trafficking in Cont. Sub. 1st Degree 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine)
