The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Paducah man on Tuesday night following a drug investigation into Fentanyl trafficking.
On 11/22/2022 deputies responded to a drug overdose in the 2300 block of Mayfield Metropolis Road in McCracken County. Deputies and first responders located a young man who had overdosed on suspected Fentanyl. Narcan was administered on scene and the young man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
During the investigation deputies and detectives determined that the suspected Fentanyl pills had been purchased from a residence located in the 1600 Block of Harrison Street in Paducah.
Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence on 11/22/22 just after 9pm. During the search warrant service, detectives located two men inside the residence. One of the men was located face down on a bed inside the residence, actively overdosing. Deputies and first responders administered Narcan. The individual was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The other man, 25 year old Neville “Jackson” Hawes, a resident of the home was arrested after a search of the residence revealed bags of pills that are suspected to contain Fentanyl and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Hawes was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
The investigation is continuing.
