On August 3, 2023, Raymond E. Jarvis age 45 of Marion, Kentucky was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident / failure to render aid with death or serious physical injury. The arrest stems from the investigation of the fatal collision involving Mercedeys Culligan from Tuesday morning, August 1, 2023.
Based on the investigation, Jarvis was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer on Oak Park Boulevard that struck Mercedeys who was a pedestrian on Oak Park Boulevard.
The investigation is still ongoing and we encourage the public to continue to report information.

On 08/02/2023, Andrew Burks age 38 of Princeton KY, was arrested on an indictment warrant issued out Caldwell Circuit Court for the charges of Burglary 3rd (3 counts), Criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree (2 counts), Theft by unlawful taking, theft by unlawful taking $1000<$10,000 and persistent felony offender 1.
Burks was also arrested on an indictment warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court for the charges of receiving stolen property $10,000 or more and trafficking in stolen identities.
On 08/02/2023, Whitney Thatcher age 28 of Princeton KY, was arrested on an indictment warrant issued out of Caldwell Circuit Court for the charges of Complicity to the following charges of Burglary 3rd (3 counts), Criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree (2 counts), Theft by unlawful taking and theft by unlawful taking $1000<$10,000.
On 08/03/2023, Amber Amaro age 34 of Hardin KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Calloway Circuit Court for the charge of probation violation. Amaro was also arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court for failure to appear for court.
On 07/31/2023, Aaron Fisher age 39 of Bardwell KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Carlisle Circuit Court for failure to appear for the charges of Jury Tampering and Persistent Felony Offender 1.
On 08/01/2023, William Smothers age 53 of Benton KY, was arrested on the charge of assault 4th degree.
On 08/01/2023, Kendall Blakney age 41 of Benton KY, was arrested following a traffic stop by Marshall County deputies. Blakney was charged with careless driving, driving motor vehicle while texting, possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and no insurance.
On 08/01/2023, Dustin Davenport age 27 of Murray KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court for the charges of Contempt of court. Original charges were DUI and 2 counts of wanton endangerment. Davenport turned himself in so that the warrant could be served.
