Marshall County Sheriff’s Report June 19, 2017

On June 18th, Deputy Chris Greenfield was dispatched to a hotel in Draffenville in reference to a man acting suspiciously. According to the citation filed by Deputy Greenfield, Jason P. Sims age 36 of Murray appeared to be talking to himself and knocking on guests doors. When Deputy Greenfield arrived, he observed Sims operating a motor vehicle in the parking lot and stopped the car. As a result of the investigation Sims was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence ALC/Drugs/Etc. Sims was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.

Several warrants, including indictment warrants have been served in the last few days. These include a McCracken County warrant for Assault 4th Degree on Timothy Devary age 32 of Paducah, Also served was an indictment warrant by Deputy William Strader against Ronald T. Fleet on charges of DUI, Driving on DUI Suspended OL, Leaving Scene of an Accident, and Persistent Felony Offender. Dalton M. Lampley was served indictment warrants from Marshall District Court by Deputy Strader on charges of Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, DUI, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree ( Methamphetamine ), Drug Paraphernalia – Buy / Poss, Reckless Driving, Disregarding Stop Sign, License to Be in Possession, Criminal Littering, and Resisting Arrest. David A. Horn was served an indictment warrant on charges of DUI, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Marijuana. Aaron L. Woody age 35 of Hardin was served an indictment for Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree >or = to 2gms Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia Buy / Possess, Failure to Notify DOT of Address Change, and Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Jury Tampering, and Persistent Felony Offender. April D. Novetske age 42 of Paducah was served an indictment warrant for Drug Paraphernalia – Buy / Possess, Traficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree Methamphetamine, and Possession of Marijuana.

On June 17th 9:00 pm, Deputies Chris Greenfield and Luke Rudd were dispatched to a disturbance on Dalecrest Lane. An unwanted and disorderly guest was reported at a location on that lane. Upon arrival, Deputies met with Jody Reineke age 51 of Celina, OH. According to a citation filed by Deputy Greenfield, Reineke was manifestly under the influence and verbally combative. Reineke was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree. She was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.

On June 17th at approximately 3:22am, SGT Jason Lane conducted a traffic stop on West 5th Street. As a result of the ensuing investigation, Melissa R. Louati age 30 of Benton was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence ALC/Drugs?Etc .08 2nd Offense. She was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. While conducting this investigation an assault was reported. Deputy Dan Melone and Deputy Josh Anderson responded to a residence on Union Ridge Road to continue the investigation. As a result, Chris L. Carter age 29 of Benton was arrested and charged with Assault 4th Degree. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
