The Paducah Police Department is warning local businesses about counterfeit bills that have been passed in the area recently.
A downtown business reportedly took several fake $100 bills Sunday or Monday. An employee discovered the bills when she was preparing the business’ bank deposit. An investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information about the counterfeit bills is being asked to call the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL.
